And what better way to celebrate than by embracing the strength of the wonderful Annabelle Mandeng , wearing a Wyne Kirabo piece full of roots and meaning? 🤘🏾♥️
The German actress and presenter, known for her roles in Vikings: Valhalla and Berlin Alexanderplatz, among others, wore the Roots Privilege dress— our Roots Collection signature piece. This unique design is our reinterpretation of Kikoi culture, a fabric of deep significance in East Africa.
With her presence, Annabelle embodies a connection between cultures. Her Cameroonian heritage and our Ugandan roots come together in a shared language of identity and strength. Seeing her at the legendary Studio Babelsberg for the Berlinale event, wearing our design, is both a statement and a dialogue—one we are honored to be part of.

Our presence at Red Night didn’t go unnoticed. Bunte magazin, Germany’s leading lifestyle publication, featured Annabelle Mandeng in our design in its print edition. Another step in Wyne Kirabo House journey at the intersection of fashion and cultural influence.
Some days after the International Women’s Day, we still celebrate the power of women making an impact on and off the red carpet. Dressing Annabelle for this Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) event wasn’t just about cinema or fashion; it was about presence, strength, and the stories our designs help tell.
At Wyne Kirabo, we believe fashion is a tool for empowerment and cultural expression. Collaborating with women and men who inspire change, like Annabelle Mandeng, Momi Maiga, Adriana Boho, Diarra Diouf, Àfrica Bibang or Marga Mbande, among others, fuels our mission to redefine modern luxury with heritage and innovation.

The event will highlight the powerful connections we bring as African women to this vibrant, cosmopolitan city and how these connections contribute to the empowerment of women across borders. This discussion will be introduced by Josep Cuéllar, president of the Barcelona 2025 Peace Association, with a warm welcome from Berenguer Vidal, director of culture and protocol of the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya, and Joan Babeli, president of the Estels del Mediterrani Association. The event will also be presented by Antonio Perez-portabella Muñoz , president of the Catalonia-Africa Institute, and Sara Belbeida, commissioner of the Barcelona City Council, Moderated by Joan Abelló Juanpere, European Doctor in Humanities and Director of the Catalonia-Africa Institute.
